On the 1 March, Dally realised he was in a bright red, blue, pink and golden balloon that was drifting over a very long and winding wall.
It was Hadrian’s Wall which was first built across the entire top of England by the Romans in AD 122, in order to keep Scotland and England separate.
Dally loved the smell of the bracken that grew in abundance on the hillsides, the heathland and the woodlands of Northumberland, Cumbria & Tyne & Wear. A family walking on the wall looked up at him and the little girl waved. Dally woofed, 'hello', back.
